Plumbing problems – ugh! We all have to deal with them from time to time. They’re never fun and never convenient. Our goal is to help you prevent clogged drains before they happen by inspecting and cleaning your plumbing at least once a year. Today we want to tell you how we use water jetting and CCTV drain inspections to keep your drainage system functioning as intended.

Get Rid of Clogged Drains in LA

Many things can cause a drain to slow down and become clogged. Food particles and cooking grease are the number-one issues for the kitchen drain while hair is often the primary cause for shower and tub drains. Sometimes we run into issues with tree roots and children’s toys as well. Children are curious by nature, so they like to test their toys to see how well they can swim. Unfortunately for many toys, they don’t swim well and end up stuck in the drain somewhere.

Water jetting uses a push-pull system to push highly pressurized water through the center clogs while pulling at the sides. Many water jetting heads have five jets – one to push forward and four to pull from all sides. This system works very well to rip blockages apart so they continue down the pipes. It also allows us to clean the interior of the pipes so we can see what’s going on in there.

CCTV Drain Inspections in LA

The water jetting system cleans the sludge from the inside of the pipes so we can see any potential problems. Our CCTV camera system is designed to go into the pipes and show us the interior walls of the plumbing and drainage system. We use the water jetting system to thoroughly clean the pipe walls and then the CCTV camera system to inspect for cracks, tree roots, or other issues that may become problems down the road.
